Rospotrebnadzor issued a memo on the eve of the start of the cherry season. In their review, experts drew the attention of Russian consumers to cherries, which have a number of undeniable advantages.
It is reported that sweet cherries are low in calories – they contain about 50 kcal per 100 g of product. Cherries also contain a lot of vitamin C, magnesium, manganese, iron, copper, potassium and calcium.
“Cherry helps to improve blood quality and cure anemia” – noted in Rospotrebnadzor. This berry has less acids than cherries, so it is suitable even for those suffering from heartburn, however, with gastritis, you should refrain from this seasonal delicacy. Sweet cherries are not recommended for diabetics, and dark varieties should be avoided by allergy sufferers.
Experts advise healthy people to eat no more than 300-400 g of cherries per meal, since diarrhea is not excluded when overeating.
