The club “Mutabor”, where the “naked party” took place, was sued because of the music
The owner of the Mutabor nightclub was sued over the music used in the establishment. The Russian Society of Authors believes that he forgot to make contributions to the authors of the compositions. The claim filed by RAO is reported by TASS with reference to the Moscow Arbitration Court.
The court announced a registered claim by RAO against Art Center LLC (owner of the Mutabor trademark). It was noted that the date for the hearing in the case has not been set.
According to TASS, RAO intends to recover 300 thousand rubles from the defendant. The agency clarified that Art Center had previously entered into a contract with RAO for the use of some musical compositions during events. But the Russian Authors’ Society considered that the payments were overdue, and now they expect to receive substantial compensation.
Previously, the owners of the Mutabor club were accused of violating sanitary and epidemiological requirements during Nastya Ivleeva’s party. On January 9, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow will consider the possibility of suspending the establishment. It may close for up to three months.
“Naked Party” by Nastya Ivleeva with a large number of invited stars took place on December 21. It caused a lot of criticism and attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies.
