The main tradition of this holiday is the slaughter of animals, most often sheep. Families are ready to sacrifice one animal as a sign of readiness to serve the Almighty. The meat is usually divided into three parts: one is given to the poor, the second is prepared as a treat for relatives, neighbors and friends, and the third part is left for Muslims to keep their families. This is a traditional custom that allows you to share the joy of the holiday and help those in need. Eid al-Adha is a time when Muslims get together to celebrate their faith and make sacrifices as a sign of devotion to Allah.
