Musk wanted to make another paid feature on Twitter

Twitter, recently acquired by American businessman Elon Musk, is set to roll out a new feature that will allow users to charge users to view certain videos. It is reported by The Washington Post.
According to the publication, the new feature will be called Paywalled Video. It will allow users to upload paid videos, while the social network will charge a commission on users’ earnings.
It is noted that the company has set the task for developers to implement this feature in an expedited manner – in just one to two weeks.
It is also reported that users themselves can set the amount for viewing content: 1, 2, 5 or 10 US dollars.
Earlier it was reported that Musk, after acquiring the social network, decided to introduce a fee for confirming the verification (authenticity) of the account.
This caused a mixed reaction from users. The decision was also criticized by writer Stephen King. In response, Musk told him that he was ready to consider lowering the subscription price.
