According to the billionaire, on August 7 he will undergo magnetic resonance imaging of the upper spine and neck. After an MRI, doctors will be able to tell if the 72-year-old billionaire needs back surgery. “The exact date is yet to be determined. We’ll find out this week,” he said.
Prior to this, Musk wrote that intervention may be needed to insert a titanium plate between the 5th and 6th vertebrae.
