Musk apologizes to Norway for ‘Nigerian’ status of its Twitter accounts

Twitter owner Elon Musk has apologized to the Norwegian Foreign Ministry, which has a label on the platform that says “Nigerian government organization”.
On Tuesday, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry asked the social network to change the erroneous labeling.
The social network also connected Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt with Nigeria.
“Sorry,” Elon Musk wrote on his account on Wednesday in response to the publication of the Norwegian Foreign Ministry.
Now all three pages are correctly labeled: “Norwegian government organization” or “Norwegian government official,” TASS reports.
