Social network X (formerly Twitter) has added the ability to hide your likes from other users. This was announced by the owner of the platform, Elon Musk.
“You can now hide likes, but I recommend keeping them open and just using bookmarks for interesting posts,” wrote Musk.
At the end of August, Musk announced the launch of audio and video calls in X. It was clarified that the user’s phone number is not needed to make calls. A few days earlier, Musk said that X might no longer allow users to block other accounts.
After purchasing Twitter in the fall of 2022, Musk announced large-scale changes to the social network. In particular, the businessman advocated an amnesty for blocked accounts, and also introduced a paid Twitter Blue subscription for $7.99 per month, which provides a blue check mark next to the account name, the ability to edit tweets, etc.
On July 24, Twitter was renamed X. Innovations also affected the platform logo: instead of a blue bird, it now features the letter X, and the domain has changed to x.com.
