Musician Petar Martic will be expelled from Russia for promoting drugs

The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow decided to deport to Serbia the musician and co-founder of the Pasosh group Petar Martic in the case of drug propaganda (Part 2 of Article 6.13 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) in the lyrics of songs. He was also given a fine of 20 thousand rubles.
“He (Petar Martic – Kommersant) was sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of 20 thousand rubles. with administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation,” the press service of the Moscow courts reported in Telegram channel.
An administrative case was opened against the musician on December 18. Petar Martic was born in 1993 in Belgrade and has lived in Russia since 1997. He founded the groups “Jump Pussy” and “Pasosh”, as well as the label “Homework”. In 2021, the Pasosh group announced on an indefinite suspension of work after its lead singer was accused of violence.
In September, Roskomnadzor announced a tender to improve Internet monitoring systems to identify illegal materials. The work, as stated in the terms of reference documents, was initiated to increase the coverage of analyzed materials, identify “complex signs of violations of the law” and reduce the time to identify prohibited information on the network.
