Spotify streaming service added music videos on the platform – they are available in 11 countries and with a limited set of videos. In the future, according to the developers, there will be thousands of clips in the catalog.
Users will be able to see a video for a song if there is a “Switch to Video” icon next to the track title. You can flip your device over to view it in full screen mode, and you can also switch back through the Switch to Audio feature.
Currently, the service offers videos for songs by Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Ice Spice, Aluna & Asake and others. The clips were available to Spotify Premium users in the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Kenya and the Philippines. The function is available both in mobile applications on iOS and Android, as well as in the web version and in applications for smart TVs.
