Muscovites will be told about ways to save money when buying a home

The Housing Development Institute DOM.RF and the Center for Financial Literacy under the Department of Finance of the City of Moscow signed an agreement on information cooperation. The agreement will be the first stage in the work to develop financial literacy of Moscow residents for 2023-2024.
“…During the duration of the preferential programs, more than 231 thousand Muscovites received loans for the purchase of housing. We see our task as telling Muscovites about ways to save money when solving the housing problem and opportunities to reduce the payment burden on mortgage loans,” said Mikhail Kovalev, director of the DOM.RF Consulting Center.
Over the course of the year, the structures that signed the agreement implemented a number of projects to improve the financial literacy of Muscovites. DOM.RF experts released content and conducted master classes on financial literacy in the housing sector.
“Experts from the DOM.RF Consulting Center will help Muscovites understand the issues of mortgage lending and home purchases. The agreement is a big step in developing mortgage literacy among Muscovites. I am sure that it will strengthen successful and productive interaction,” said Olga Lukacheva, head of the Center for Financial Literacy.
In 2023, the Moscow Department of Finance will take part in the Third All-Russian Marathon, organized by DOM.RF, during which Moscow residents will be able to watch live broadcasts with the participation of leading experts in the field of finance and real estate, as well as media personalities.
