Muscovites were warned about falling into a “baric hollow” in early February
January in Moscow will end with high atmospheric pressure, and in the first days of February the capital will sharply fall into a deep “pressure trough”. This was stated by the chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, in her Telegram channel.
According to her, the pressure at the end of the second winter month will be seven to twelve units higher than normal.
“In early February, the capital region will find itself in a deep pressure trough, and atmospheric pressure will drop sharply,” the specialist wrote.
At the same time, changes in atmospheric pressure will have virtually no effect on temperature. According to Pozdnyakova, by January standards the temperature will be three to five degrees above the climate norm for this period.
Earlier it became known that in Moscow and the region The “yellow” level of weather danger remains.
