The meteorologist noted that this coming weekend the thermometer will show Muscovites temperatures below the climate norm for early December – about 5-7 degrees below zero during the day and 7-9 degrees below zero at night.
On Monday, day and night temperatures are expected to be in the range of 8-13 degrees below zero, and on Tuesday night the thermometer will drop to 17 degrees below zero.
Precipitation is not forecast, it will be cloudy with clearings, AGN Moscow quotes Vilfand.
It was previously reported that the snowfall that occurred in Moscow on November 27 was the heaviest since November 2012. Snow depth reached 21 centimetersalthough due to warming the figure decreased by a couple of centimeters.
Moreover, on November 30 and December 1 in the capital region it is possible appearance of the aurora, atypical for these latitudes. According to scientists, a strong magnetic storm will hit the Earth on these same days.
