Muscovites warned of icy conditions from Wednesday

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, told the City News Agency “Moscow“that between Wednesday, October 18, and until the end of this week, icy conditions are expected in the capital due to lower temperatures.
Vilfand noted that even with a slight plus of 1-2 degrees, icing is possible in the presence of precipitation and wind. Frosts and precipitation are expected in Moscow at night, so icy conditions are forecast throughout the week, starting on Wednesday.
On Thursday, October 19, night temperatures in the capital region will drop to minus 2 degrees, and at the end of the week minus 4 degrees is expected.
Vilfand also noted that the weather this week will be gloomy and gray.
