Retail chains Cherkizovo, GAP Resurs and Prioskolye began to lower wholesale prices for their goods after a request from the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), the agency also gave recommendations to manufacturers to proportionately reduce the cost of chicken meat in stores. This was stated in the FAS Telegram channel.
“As a result of interaction with the department, producers decided to reduce selling prices for broiler carcasses. They notified the FAS about this,” the service’s publication said.
In addition, the FAS reminded of the importance of responsible behavior of members of the entire commodity production chain and the inadmissibility of an unreasonable rise in prices for chicken meat and other food products.
