According to Pyotr Biryukov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement, during the clean-up day, Muscovites will clean up parks and squares, courtyards and public spaces of the capital together with municipal employees. Traditionally, the planting of trees and shrubs will also take place on this day.

“All the necessary inventory and planting materials have already been prepared. We invite all caring Muscovites to take part in the upcoming subbotnik, especially on this day weather forecasters promise good weather. It is the joint work of city services and residents that allows us to make our city better, increase the level of comfort and safety,” said Pyotr Biryukov.
