State Duma deputy Oleg Nilov proposed introducing a kind of compensation from mobilization in the form of a tax of 2-3% plus personal income tax. According to the parliamentarian, an additional tax should be levied on those liable for military service, and men of military age who do not participate in the SVO. Such a measure, according to Nilov, will help calm those men who are afraid of being mobilized.
– This is about 1-2 thousand rubles from each of the 40 million, it turns out about 60 billion rubles a month. This is not about increasing budget revenues, but about their targeted direction to each member of the SVO, – Deputy Oleg Nilov told MK. – It is fundamentally important that I propose to direct the funds collected under the new tax not to the Ministry of Finance and not even to the Ministry of Defense, but only directly to soldiers in the NMD zone, volunteers and contract soldiers preparing for NMD at training grounds to a personal account.
Moreover, Nilov has already calculated that such an initiative will make it possible to pay the participants of the special operation 400-500 thousand a month instead of the current 200-300 thousand.
Thus, the deputy sees an opportunity to avoid any form of mobilization by providing everything necessary for conducting modern military operations and additional financial motivation for professional fighters who can go to serve.
