Murmansk skaters show good results at the Polar Olympics

Skaters from Murmansk take part in the 63rd Students’ Holiday of the North and the 88th Holiday of the North. The next competition is waiting for the Murmansk team on March 20th.
On Friday, March 17, the press service of the city administration of Murmansk reported on the participation of local athletes in speed skating competitions, which are held as part of the 88th traditional Northern Holiday and the 63rd Student Northern Holiday.
So, from March 13 to March 16, the Murmansk team consisting of 28 athletes and five coaches competed in Olenegorsk. They were opposed by guys from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vologda regions and Karelia. Murmansk athletes managed to win prizes in four age categories at different distances.
The next competitions are waiting for the Murmansk residents again in Olenegorsk, they will be held from March 20 to 23. 12 Murmansk athletes and five coaches will go there.
Recall, earlier “MK in Murmansk” toldthat about 500 people will participate in ski races in the Valley of Comfort.
