In Russia, periodically there are difficulties with logistics or with a change in the production of medicines, said the head of the Ministry of Health, Mikhail Murashko. However, as he claims, there is no shortage of them in the country.
“There is no shortage of international generic names,” the minister said at a meeting of the State Duma committee on health protection (quoted by RIA Novosti).
By estimated DSM Group, in 2022, the offer in retail pharmacies decreased by almost 10%, or about 2 thousand positions. According to Kommersant, this year in Russia there may be a shortage of the drug Kuprenil, which is taken by patients with Wilson-Konovalov disease. In the Russian Federation, there may be several thousand such people.
