MTS opposed the free distribution of mobile Internet

MTS did not agree to maintain unlimited distribution of mobile Internet. This was reported by the organization’s press service, as quoted by Izvestia.

“Equalizing the cost of traffic for all categories of devices will lead to the fact that operators will be forced to raise the cost of traffic for all tariffs…” the press service explained.

In other words, the MTS representative noted, ordinary users will actually pay for the services of those who often distribute traffic.

The company clarified that the absence of restrictions can lead to a noticeable deterioration in the quality of communication for many subscribers. It is noted that current tariffs for mobile communications are intended for individual consumption of traffic from gadgets. MTS added that there is a different line of traffic for laptops and desktop computers, since they consume much more of it.
