“Movement of the First” opens up new sports opportunities for the youth of Kaliningrad

The opening was attended by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region Natalya Ishchenko, Minister of Youth Policy of the region Anna Musevich, director of the Kaliningrad stadium Vladimir Savin and chairman of the regional branch of the movement Olga Ulyankina.
One of the twelve directions of the “Movement of the First” – “Sport. Reach and win.” This is the second space of the project, the first one is located in the Museum of the World Ocean.
Such spaces are designed to increase interest in sports and a healthy lifestyle among children and youth of the Kaliningrad region and Russia as a whole.
At the opening of the “Movement of the First” space there were students of educational institutions, delegates of the movement and representatives of public organizations. The guests were given an excursion where young people can now plunge into the world of sports. The children were also able to learn about the plans of the Ministry of Sports for 2023.
Natalya Ishchenko noted that the base of the stadium will be able to give children many opportunities that will contribute to the development of sports potential.
As part of the “Movement of the First” program, young people will be able not only to use the sports ground of the Kaliningrad stadium, but also to find new friends and like-minded people.
The department also recalled that the All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “Movement of the First” was created after the support of the initiative by Vladimir Putin in 2022.
