Most Russians want to send schoolchildren to work

Most Russians expressed support for the idea of ​​sending schoolchildren to work. According to the results of a study by the job search service Headhunter, which leads RBC64% of respondents positively reacted to the employment of adolescents.

It is noted that 16% of respondents were neutral to this idea, and another 17% of Russians spoke out against this initiative. The respondents say that schoolchildren are good workers because of their activity and interest in development, as stated by 32% of respondents, the desire to gain financial independence, as 20% of respondents believe, and another 12% believe that schoolchildren can be good workers thanks to their mind and quick wits.

At the same time, 17% of the Russians who took part in the survey said that teenagers would not be able to cope with work responsibilities. Among the advantages of employment, respondents identified the development of independence and responsibility, the emergence of their own earnings, as well as the acquisition of useful skills and life experience, but at the same time, the Russians surveyed believe that adolescents may face deception from employers, it may be difficult for them to combine study with work, and besides, work can be simply dangerous for them at a young age.
