Most of the circulation of new Russian history textbooks has already been printed, the press service of the Prosveshchenie publishing house reported.

Textbooks of the history of Russia, as noted, are printed by seven plants in the country. Most of the circulation has already been printed and is ready for shipment, so that from September 1, Russian schoolchildren will start learning from them. “The first shipment will be to Sakhalin on August 11,” the message says.

Earlier, Vladimir Medinsky, aide to the President of the Russian Federation, said that the sections devoted to the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s were completely revised in the updated unified history textbook for grades 10-11. According to him, the textbook now contains much less “numbers, dates, dry statistics”, there are more “stories about people”, as well as information about “specific real events”.
