Moskovskaya Pravda journalist received an award for covering projects on independent assessment of student qualifications

An independent assessment of the qualifications of graduates of secondary and higher professional educational institutions is becoming increasingly popular among future young professionals. Over the year, the number of venues where it is held increased by 15%, and there are already 531 specialized Qualification Assessment Centers in Russia. A pilot project to combine state final certification and independent qualification assessment (GIA-NOK) has been successfully launched in 24 universities of the country. He “forced” educational institutions to update their educational programs to the requirements of the market, and also allowed students to receive documents confirming their high qualifications. Such results of the year were presented at the final press conference by the director of the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications Artyom Shadrin.

“Councils for professional qualifications, created on the basis of associations of employers in various industries, make it possible to ensure a high level of expertise and quality of professional standards,” Artyom Shadrin specified. — The adoption of a new version of the order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia, which significantly speeds up the procedure for coordinating and approving professional qualifications, makes it possible to increase the efficiency of taking into account changes in the labor market associated with the use of new technological solutions.

Next year, the National Agency plans to complete the development of a proposal to update specialized professional standards for graduates of educational organizations, as well as educational programs related to these standards. To this end, active consultations are now underway with employers, work is underway on such federal projects as Personnel for the Digital Economy, Advanced Engineering Schools, and Professionalism.

According to Artyom Shadrin, all the services being designed should allow, in particular, to compare the real knowledge and skills of the applicant with the requirements of a particular professional qualification, to help a student of a university or secondary vocational school choose the necessary program of basic or additional education to obtain the missing competencies.

After a press conference at the National Agency, the winners of the VI Competition for journalists, media and social media authors “National Qualifications System” were awarded. One of the awards in the nomination “For contribution to the information coverage of the topics of the National Qualifications System” was received by the journalist of our newspaper Mona Platonova for the publication “University students have passed professional exams to confirm their qualifications”.
