Human Rights Ombudsman in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova told reporters that she intends to take the initiative to issue Russian passports to compatriots not only in the country, but also in foreign missions.
She recalled that today the legislation obliges citizens permanently residing abroad to come to Russia in order to draw up a document.
“I would like to raise the question of the possibility of obtaining Russian passports abroad,” Moskalkova said.
