Moskalkova received more than 3.4 thousand requests for partial mobilization

President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova. She said that she received more than 3.4 thousand concerning partial mobilization last fall. The Ombudsman proposed to make social payments to wounded soldiers or relatives of the dead at the place of permanent registration.

Ms. Moskalkova said that a special working group had been set up to work with the families of participants in the military operation and volunteers. She clarified that interaction was established with the Ministry of Defense, the FSB, the Russian Foreign Ministry, with the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as with the Ukrainian Ombudsman. According to her, this “made it possible to release many from captivity, to establish the location and fate of the missing.” She added that their number is “quite large”, but did not give exact numbers.

In the report that she submitted to the president, the ombudsman complained that now, in the event of a call-up at the place of temporary registration, a serviceman is sometimes denied regional payments due to injury, sometimes relatives of the dead military are also denied. In this regard, Tatyana Moskalkova offered all social payments at the place of permanent registration, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the document.

Mr. Putin announced a partial mobilization on September 21, 2022. On October 31, he announced its completion, were mobilized 318 thousand people. In April, Deputy Prosecutor General Anatoly Razinkin informedthat the unjustified mobilization of 15 thousand Russians was cancelled.
