The end of January in Moscow will be marked by high atmospheric pressure, said Tatyana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow Meteorological Bureau. According to her, in the first days of February the capital will sharply fall into a deep “pressure trough”, and the atmospheric pressure will drop sharply.

“But this will have virtually no effect on the temperature; the week is expected to be warm, by January standards. The anomaly air temperature will be 3…5 degrees,” Ms. Pozdnyakova wrote in Telegram.
