Moscow services put on high alert due to expected showers and thunderstorms

According to the information published in the telegram channel of the capital’s municipal economy complex, Moscow’s public utilities have switched to an increased alert mode in connection with the upcoming thunderstorms and downpours.
Forecasters have warned that rain, sometimes heavy, is expected throughout the night and until the end of July 7th. Thunderstorms are possible with wind gusts of up to 20 meters per second, and the total amount of precipitation may exceed 25 millimeters.
Due to the unfavorable forecast, city services decided to increase readiness, with special attention being paid to life support facilities and the fuel and energy complex.
