New devices were supplied by the capital’s Svyaz Engineering M company as part of connecting Moscow river floating berths to power grids. Details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Vladislav Ovchinsky. “A company specializing in the production of automated commercial energy metering systems supplied 24 smart meters to equip river berths. They allow you to consolidate readings from an energy meter and automatically transfer information to the network company,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky. He recalled that Moscow-made products are supplied throughout the country. Electric vessels are recharged from stations installed at the berths. The equipment is connected to electrical networks to calculate the power consumption of water transport.
“We are glad that our company helped in the implementation of such an important innovative project – the arrangement of berths for electric ships, which are not only environmentally friendly, but also practical for residents of the capital. We hope to become part of a number of similar projects in the future,” summarized the company’s general director, Petr Asachenkov. Let us remind you that in June of this year a new type of passenger transport began operating in Moscow. Year-round electric vessels travel along the route “Kyiv – Heart of the Capital”. And on September 29, the ZIL – Pechatniki route appeared.
