Moscow region athlete Anzhelika Ovcharenko became the bronze medalist of the world championship in Kyokushin karate in Japan. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Sports.
– I went out and did what we worked out with sensei. Then they announced that I went to the second round, it went just as easily and quickly. I didn’t even realize how I was already standing on a pedestal. I immediately called the coach and relatives to convey the good news. Now there is a great desire to move on, – Angelica shared after the victory.
It is noted that the athlete competed in the adult age category (15-34 years). More than 30 athletes competed for the status of the champion of the competition in this group.
Angelica is a ward of the Balashikha sports school “Orion”.
