Violation of the rules for the use of airspace is qualified as an administrative offense under Art. 11.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (up to 50 thousand rubles fine for individuals), or – if the use caused serious harm to health or death of a person – as a criminal offense under Art. 271.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (up to five years in prison under part 1, up to seven years – under part 2).
