Moscow girls win four medals at the European Olympiad in Informatics

In Turkey, the results of the second European Olympiad for Schoolgirls in Informatics were summed up, in which teams of girls from 43 countries of the world took part.
The Russian team, speaking in a remote format and based at the site of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, received four medals. “Gold” of the Olympiad was won by: Ekaterina Poray, a first-year student of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and Daria Grekova, a student of the 9th grade of school No. 57. “Silver” went to Vladislava Sinitsyna, a first-year student of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and Ekaterina Hossein, a student of the 11th grade of the school No. 179. In the team standings, our girls scored the highest amount of points.
As noted by the coaching staff, which included representatives of the boarding school named after AH Kolmogorov of Moscow State University named after MB Lomonosov, as well as the National Research University ITMO, the Russian women’s team was formed following the results of summer training camps, which were held in June among winners and winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Informatics.
