Moscow court arrests activist Artyom Kamardin for reading anti-war poem

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested activist Artem Kamardin for two months, until November 25. The measure of restraint for the activist was chosen as part of the investigation of a criminal case on inciting hatred with the threat of violence (paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 282 of the Criminal Code), follows from the video with the announcement of the court decision, which was distributed by the press service of the court (Kommersant has “).

The police found the corpus delicti in the poem “Kill me, militia”, which Artem Kamardin read on September 25 at Triumfalnaya Square, when he participated in the Mayakovsky Readings. In the poem he informed about his sexual relations with the daughters of those fighting in the Donbass.

On September 26, Artyom Kamardin’s apartment was searched. “New Newspaper. Europe” informed referring to eyewitnesses that the security forces “beat Kamardin very badly and put a dumbbell in his anus.” This information “b” Kamardin’s lawyer confirmed. In an interview RTVI he said that Artyom Kamardin was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, he was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury. Doctors issued a certificate that he did not need hospitalization.

Together with 31-year-old Artem Kamardin, 26-year-old Nikolai Daineko and 21-year-old Yegor Shtovba took part in the Mayakovsky Readings. Their police officers detained them on Triumfalnaya Square and drew up a report on participation in an uncoordinated action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Later, they were also charged with incitement to hatred and arrested until 25 November.
