Crimean gymnasium – a boarding school for gifted children: a new form for a new school

Repairs were carried out in Crimean schools, after which new furniture and modern equipment were purchased. The initiator of large-scale works is Russian President Vladimir Putin, all of them are part of the “People’s Program” of the “United Russia” party.

According to the Minister of Education of the Crimea Valentina Lavrik, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the objects where repairs are being carried out are determined based on the results of a competitive selection.

– Schools are included in the Program if they are listed as requiring major repairs in the federal statistical observation No. OO-2 “Information on the material, technical and information base, financial and economic activities of a general educational organization” and if there is a positive conclusion of the state examination on the reliability of determining the estimate the cost of a major overhaul,” she says.

Thus, 14 republican schools are included in the overhaul program, each of which is of great importance in the framework of the educational process.

“Our gymnasium-boarding school is the only educational institution for academically gifted children in the Crimea,” says Ekaterina Skopintseva-Kityuk, director of the Crimean Gymnasium-Boarding School for Gifted Children. – We have two buildings, one of which is located in Simferopol, and the second – in the village of Tankov, Bakhchisaray district. The overhaul included 14 types of external and internal works. When it ended, we purchased educational furniture and interactive panels for our Training Center for children participating in the Olympiads.

Already on September 1, the work was completed. This Day of Knowledge has become special, because not only the school has been updated, but also the uniform. Now all students wear a dark blue uniform with an embroidered emblem of our gymnasium. According to the management, the school uniform disciplines children, makes it possible to feel the commonality of the gymnasium students as one large team, and, importantly, helps to reduce social differences between students, this was noticeable from the very first day they were in the gymnasium.
