The Moscow City Court, which today, August 3, sentenced State Duma deputy Vadim Belousov in absentia to ten years in prison, put him on the wanted list. The court believes that the deputy did not appear at the meeting, at which the verdict was announced in his case, without good reason.
“On August 3, 2022, the Moscow City Court ruled that convicted Vadim Vladimirovich Belousov was put on the wanted list due to his failure to appear without good reason for the announcement of the verdict and the failure to establish his whereabouts,” the court told TASS.

The lawyer is going to appeal against the decision of the court to put the deputy on the wanted list.
