Raltegravir is included in international and Russian recommendations for the treatment of HIV. Under government contracts until 2022, only the original Isentress was supplied. In autumn, the patent for the raltegravir molecule expired. After that, generics were registered by Promomed (Rolnavir) and Pharmasyntez (Raltegra).
According to various sources, from 850,000 to 1.1 million people with HIV live in Russia. About 400 thousand more citizens do not know about their disease.
