Despite waves of coronavirus cases, Moscow polyclinics remain accessible to patients, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, said at the final session of the My Polyclinic forum on Saturday.
According to her, 132 polyclinics are currently under major renovation. “This means that the network is compressed by a third,” said the deputy mayor.
“At the same time, we already have regular waves of covid, the classic season of SARS and influenza, swine flu, which we have long forgotten,” she said.
However, as Rakova emphasized, “Muscovites are not outraged either by the availability or the quality of polyclinics,” which she called “the result of a huge amount of work” and the success of doctors.
The deputy mayor thanked the doctors for their contribution to the development of the capital’s healthcare and noted that the city authorities plan to repair all polyclinics as quickly as possible.
