Moscow 11th graders switched to a flexible learning format

On February 1, graduates of four hundred Moscow schools (almost 80% of all schools in the capital) officially began a new academic life: they switched to a flexible learning format.

He assumes that those subjects that the guys are going to take as part of the Unified State Attestation, they will study actively and in depth, with the maximum number of possible study hours and workshops. Graduates will study Russian and mathematics, because without them it will be impossible to get a certificate of secondary education. Moreover, if these disciplines are not needed for admission to a university, you still have to study them. And four more subjects – history, social studies, literature and physical education, as well as extracurricular activities with “Conversations about the Important” decided to keep for everyone, so to speak, for the development of a common human culture. Estimates for the rest, non-core subjects, teachers had to set before January 31.

Both schoolchildren and their parents call the idea of ​​a new format of education correct. In the four months remaining before the exams, it is really worth focusing on the maximum preparation for the exam, without spraying on the rest. But for now, there are many “white spots” in the system. Some of the students in the schedule appeared “windows”, someone “wandered” into the program subjects that they were not going to take. For some, the schedule was formed only until the end of the week, and what it will be like next is unknown.

It is hoped that schools will soon be able to cope with the technical problems of scheduling. And a flexible learning format will show excellent results.
