Mortgages for teachers may appear in Russia

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, development has begun in Russia on the possible introduction of preferential mortgages for teachers.
It is clarified that a corresponding working group has already been created, which included representatives of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development, which is studying the possibility of creating a separate mortgage product for teachers.
The department noted that this work will require taking into account that teaching staff “can be included in already existing preferential mortgage programs.” Examples include “Preferential Mortgage”, “Family Mortgage”, “Far Eastern Mortgage”, “Rural Mortgage” and “ Preferential mortgage “in the territories of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation.”
