As a result of a user survey conducted by Odnoklassniki and Lady Mail.ru, it turned out that more than 60% of Russians with Internet access watch educational videos on the Internet and read step-by-step instructions to develop their culinary skills.
How reports portal “Lenta.ru”, with reference to the survey results, 38% of respondents responded that they learn to cook from their friends and relatives. 54% of respondents are looking for recipes for new dishes on social networks.
It’s curious, but Russians have almost stopped using recipe books. Only 18% of those surveyed responded that they use such publications. But the number of those who experiment in the kitchen and come up with dishes on their own is increasing – 22%. And finally, 6% answered that, in principle, they are not preparing anything new.
But the number of those who cook for several days at once and those who like to cook daily is divided almost equally – 47% and 45%, respectively.
The Russians also answered the question about the most popular breakfast. The winners were cereal and milk and fried eggs, followed by avocado toast. 13% of respondents do not have breakfast at all, and 6% eat breakfast outside the home.
About 3 thousand users across the country took part in the survey.
