More than a thousand gymnasts gathered in Yekaterinburg for all-Russian competitions

All-Russian rhythmic gymnastics competitions “You Can Do It Yourself” are being held in Yekaterinburg. More than 1.2 thousand athletes from 20 regions of Russia are participating in the competition, reports the region’s information policy department.

The competition is being held in the Ural capital for the third time. They will last until Sunday, March 10th.

Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev gave the start to the work of the largest Center for Rhythmic and Aesthetic Gymnastics in the Urals and Siberia. Pupils of the local sports school in rhythmic gymnastics train at the facility.

As previously reported, on March 6 in Kachkanar Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev opened a new ice palace with a capacity of four hundred people. The sports facility was built as part of a tripartite agreement between the regional government, the municipal administration and EVRAZ.
