More than 70 lugers in Kandalaksha will challenge their rivals

All-Russian competitions and the Russian Luge Championship will take place in Kandalaksha in January. Over 70 lugers will challenge their rivals, the Ministry of Sports of the Murmansk Region said.
Participants are athletes from Kandalaksha, Kirovsk, Bratsk and Irkutsk region. The Youth Games competition will be held from January 25 to 26, and from January 30 to 31, lugers will take to the start of the Russian Championship.
There will be several disciplines: naturban – single-seater sled and naturban – double-seater sled.
The day before, alpine skiing competitions also took place in Kirovsk. “MK in Murmansk” wrotethat they took place from January 18 to 20.
