The authorities of Primorsky Krai approved 17,046 applications for payments approved by flood victims, reported press service of the government of the region. More than 634 million rubles were allocated for these purposes.

In the regional Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, more than 4 thousand applications were sent for payment for the complete loss of essential property, 3647 for partial loss, the remaining 9391 for a lump sum payment. Also, 456 applications for overhaul have already been submitted. Depending on the amount of damage, flood victims can receive payments from 10,000 to 100,000 rubles.

In August, heavy rains occurred in Primorye, about 4.6 thousand residential buildings were flooded, six people died. On August 25, due to rains, about 70 thousand residents of Vladivostok were left without electricity. On the same day, a state of emergency of a federal nature was introduced in the region. From the effects of the flood suffered more than 44 thousand people.
