More than 60 sporting events are planned in the Murmansk region in October
Over 60 physical education and sports events are planned in the Murmansk region in October. According to preliminary calculations, more than seven thousand people will visit them, said Governor Andrei Chibis.
Among the most striking events are regional championships in ten sports, competitions within the framework of the Special Olympics of Russia, the Regional Kyokushinkai Karate Cup and the municipal stage of the Governor's Cup among school clubs.
“I want to pay special attention to it, since in 2022 the winners of the competition received grants in the form of a subsidy in the amount of 21 million rubles,” commented Andrei Chibis.
He also noted that the winnings were used to equip the halls, purchase equipment and uniforms.
Previously "MK in Murmansk" reportedthat the defense-sports game “Tactics” was held in the regional center.
