More than 50 schools have been renovated in Yakutia

In Yakutia, under the federal program, 58 schools were repaired before the start of the school year, 11 of them in the city of Yakutsk.

So, for example, in the new academic year, the 10th school accepted 1,700 schoolchildren after the roof was installed there, finishing work was carried out and the facade was equipped. And in the 31st school, windows were replaced and the floors were leveled, in addition, just like in the 10th, finishing work was carried out and the facade was updated. New furniture and equipment were purchased and delivered to the facilities.

Recall that by the decision of the President of the country Vladimir Putin, a large-scale program of major repairs of schools until 2026 has begun in the regions. In Yakutia, 104 educational institutions are being reconstructed until 2024. Now work is underway at 58 facilities in 25 municipalities and districts, some of them will be commissioned this year, some in 2023.

Also, by the end of 2022, 15 new schools will be introduced in the republic in Yakutsk and 8 districts, which will allow creating more than 4,000 additional educational places. Including 9 schools are being built under the national project “Education” and the program for the integrated development of rural areas.
