More than 300 athletes arrived at the interregional tournament in rhythmic gymnastics

On March 16, competitions for the prizes of the interregional charitable foundation “Countrymen” started at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Center. More than 300 athletes from 5 to 17 years old from Tula, Kaluga, Pskov, Moscow, Smolensk regions and St. Petersburg arrived at the sporting event.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dmitry Yakovlev, Minister of Sports of the Tula Region, Olga Slyusareva, Mayor of Tula, and Olesya Melnikova, Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the City Administration.
The Mayor handed Gratitude to the Master of Sports of Russia, a member of the Russian national team in rhythmic gymnastics Amina Idrisova and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of TMFKiSD of the Tolstoy State Pedagogical University, coach and teacher of MBUDO secondary school “Triumph” Anna Titova.
The winners of the first day of the competition were also awarded, the guests presented medals, certificates and cups to young athletes. The sporting event will continue until March 18.
