In the suburbs of Vladivostok there was an accident on a power line. As a result, residents of 199 apartment buildings and the private sector found themselves without power supply – more than 30 thousand people in total, reported Prosecutor’s Office of the Primorsky Territory. The areas affected are Sadgorod, Vesennyaya, Sputnik, and Trudovoye.
The supervisory authority began an investigation into the accident. “The prosecutor’s office will assess the compliance with legal requirements in the maintenance and servicing of electrical networks, compliance with the regulatory deadline for eliminating the accident, as well as the proper identification of its causes and conditions,” the statement says.
The press service of Far Eastern Distribution Network Company JSC explained that the 110 kV overhead power line Artemovskaya CHPP-Promuzel was disconnected. The energy sector plans to restore power supply within “at least five hours.”
