The Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) summed up the results of gasification of the region over the past 5 years. During this time, almost 6,000 houses were connected to gas, and 23,000 residents of the region received access to fuel. Also, social support measures are in place in the republic for privileged categories of citizens who intend to switch to gas heating.
“Over a five-year period, 422 km of intra-settlement, street, inter-settlement and main gas pipelines were built in the region. In 2022, a historic event took place in the gas industry – 340 km of gas networks were built and put into operation. We see that the number of households that are connected to gas is growing, which means that the quality of life of our population is improving both in the countryside and in cities, ”said Maxim Tereshchenko, Minister of Industry and Geology of Yakutia.
In 2023, it is planned to build gas networks to the borders of almost 2,000 sites. In total, as part of the revised program for the development of gas supply in the region for 2021-2025, almost 8.5 thousand households will be gasified, more than 70 boiler houses and enterprises will be connected to gas.
