More than 200 children of SVO participants will study at the HSE for free

The rector of the Higher School of Economics, Nikita Anisimov, said that 188 children of participants in the special operation in Ukraine were enrolled in the university on a budgetary basis.
During a press conference at TASS, he said that 159 applicants from this number entered the HSE under a separate quota. An additional 29 people from this category, who did not pass the quota, but entered the paid department, will study at the expense of the university.
The rector also said that 43 senior students from the families of SVO participants who studied for a fee have now also been transferred to the budget.
