Six students were hospitalized from a school in the village of Bolshakovo, Slavsky district, Kaliningrad region, to the regional children’s hospital. By data TFR, the children were admitted “with signs of exposure to an unknown toxic substance.” According to REN TVthe children were poisoned by an antiseptic that was sprayed on the children from a spray bottle by employees of the educational institution.
According to preliminary data, immediately after the morning assembly, the children began to complain of a deterioration in their health. Medical assistance was provided to 23 students, six students from the 5th and 8th grades were hospitalized.
School principal Maria Bliznyuk addressed the parent community at the school community social network VKontakte with an explanation of what happened and a request “not to disseminate unverified information.” According to her, “samples of water, air, disinfectants, daily food samples” are being checked, and she asks parents to “talk to their children” to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
A procedural audit is currently underway with the participation of specialists from the Rospotrebnadzor department.
