In Primorsky Krai, an emergency power outage occurred in Nakhodka. More than 19 thousand residents of the city were left without electricity, reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to her, the accident occurred around 9:30 (2:30 Moscow time). As a result, electricity was cut off in 96 houses on Zavodskaya, Nakhimovskaya and Gorky streets. Rescue work has already begun. The prosecutor’s office of Nakhodka organized an inspection.
Heavy rains have continued in Primorsky Krai since the beginning of August. On August 25, a state of emergency at the federal level was introduced in the region. More than 5,000 households were affected by the rainfall, six people died. The authorities estimate the total damage at least 7 billion rubles. The region also flooded federal highway.
